Do's and Don'ts of Swimwear Care

Do's and Don'ts of Swimwear Care

Here are some do's and don'ts of swimwear care:

Do's:

Rinse your swimwear after each use with cool tap water to remove chlorine and saltwater.

Hand wash your swimwear using a mild detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics, or use a gentle cycle on your washing machine with cold water. If you choose to machine wash your swimwear, place it in a mesh wash bag to protect it from getting tangled or stretched.

Gently squeeze or roll your swimwear in a clean towel to remove excess water, avoiding excessive wringing.

Lay your swimwear flat on a clean towel or hang it in a shaded area to dry. Avoid drying it under direct sunlight.

Wear sunscreen before putting on your swimwear to avoid staining the fabric. Allow the sunscreen to dry before wearing your swimwear.

Don'ts:

Don't use harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners, as they can damage the fabric and its elasticity.

Avoid machine drying your swimwear, as the heat can be harsh and lead to fabric damage or shrinkage.

Don't wring out your swimwear forcefully, as it can stretch or damage the fabric.

Avoid sitting or leaning against rough surfaces like pool edges or rough concrete, as they can snag or tear the fabric.

Don't fold or store your swimwear when it's damp, as this can cause mildew or mold growth. Make sure it's completely dry before storing it.

By following these do's and don'ts, you can help maintain the quality and longevity of your swimwear, ensuring that it stays in excellent condition for a longer time.
